Located in a spectacular natural environment, this ancient village has been rehabilitated into one of the largest centers of rural tourism in Spain. All the amenities for your leisure are provided. Arribes del Duero Natural Park

This location allows you to enjoy breathtaking views of the Duero River canyons, take boat rides and river cruises that go all the way to Oporto. An overwhelming nature reserve, in which exceptional birds enjoy the safety of a special protection area for birds (SPAs).

Bird watching

The Griffon Vulture, the Black Stork and the Bonelli are protected species that fly over the Douro River canyons that pass through the Natural Park. Various programs such as Project Trino, were launched by the Government of Castile and Leon for the protection of these and other birds. You can observe these magnificent birds while cruising along the waters of the Duero river. A breathtaking experience.

Directions

By road from Salamanca:

  1. Motorway A-62 to Portugal
  2. Continue to Exit La Fuente de San Esteban (SA-315 Road) follow signs to Vitigudino.
  3. At Vitigudino take the road towards Lumbrales CL-517.
  4. Past Lumbrales, follow detour to Hinojosa del Duero.
  5. Hinojosa del Duero, enter the center of town to take the DSA-590 to Saucelle
  6. Saucelle Jump to reach Aldeaduero.
