Sukadev (Volker Bretz)was a direct disciple of Swami Vishnudevananda.
He is founder and director of Yoga Vidya in Germany, the biggest Yoga Ashram in Europe. He has written several books on Yoga. His most noteworthy is his translation and commentary of the "Raja Yoga Sutras of Patanjali". Sukadev is noted for his great knowledge of the Rishikesh Yoga style and the relationship between the practice of yoga and its impact on your energy levels.
