Course Focus
This course is aimed at those who have practiced Iyengar Yoga style for at least one year and are seeking a solid foundation of practice and training.
Entry Requirements
People interested in this course must pass a practical test and a personal interview with the professor of the course. In general, it is required that those interested in this course have practiced for at least one year Yoga Iyengar as interpreted by Yoga Center.
Course Objective
That students enrolled in this course reach a broad preparation in their personal practice and well prepared to initiate others in the practice of this method.
Technique, pedagogy and adaptations are the main thematic sections of this course, which requires a high degree of commitment to the practice , since the latter, being very detailed and accurate, requires intense attention to execute properly.

The course consists of 200 contact hours spread over 10 weekends from October to July, according to the following schedule: Saturdays from 09:00 to 19:30

Certification and Degrees
Students who pass all exams and other course requirements receive a Diploma as a Iyengar Yoga Instructor issued by Yoga Center and accredited by AIPYS
Our title makes our graduates eligible to register as RYT-200 with Yoga Alliance (U.S.) if they wish.
Certificate of Attendance
If one does not attain the necessary level to obtain the Diploma, instead, a Certificate of Attendance (not for teaching ), according to the standards set by AIPYS will be issued.
Accreditation
All our courses are recognised and accredited by the International Association of Yoga Teachers Sananda (AIPYS), whose standards and criteria are established by the international yoga community.
A.I.P.Y.S is a founding member of E.F.Y.T.A. (European Federation of Yoga Teachers Associations ).
Yoga Center is registered Yoga School with the Yoga Alliance (U.S ).

Certificate of Attendance
At the end of the three modules we shall issue a Certificate of Attendance. To Obtain this Certificate you will be expected to successfully attend the established programs for the specific module.
Accreditation
All our courses are recognized and accredited by the International Association of Yoga Teachers Sananda AIPYS that establishes and maintains the criteria of the international yoga community.

Other registers
Upon completion of this course, AIPYS 200 hours Yoga Instructor, this course leads to the Yoga Teachers course. Graduates may register with the different Yoga Alliances Level 200 hours.
