For whom is this course?

The curriculum is designed to fulfil the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of modern day children by helping them embrace the challenges of the 21st century with an open heart and joyful self-confidence.

You must already have completed a 200 hour approved Hatha Yoga training course.

The course consists of 50 hours in class over four weekends

Format

Change is constant and fast moving in today’s world. Developing emotional intelligence and nurturing confidence, resilience and open-mindedness are healthy ways to experience challenges and problems as opportunities rather than obstacles. Sadly, anxiety and stress affect much of today’s youth but yoga and its traditions provide excellent opportunities for children to explore their intuitive nature, develop positive personal qualities and to skillfully navigate the ups and downs of daily life.

Our Inner Child

We will connect to our own inner child, reminding ourselves how the world looks from a child’s perspective and have fun creating classes that fulfil the future needs of young people whilst valuing the essence of traditional yoga teachings. This training empowers you to empower children.

Testimonio

"It is true that our students evaluate us daily but we must take care of them and treat them with the rigor that you teach us at Yoga Center Madrid".

David Alvarez/ Julio 2019

I believe that when children (and adults) learn techniques for well-being, relaxation and inner fulfilment they can approach life’s challenges with more ease, confidence and compassion.

Yoga and mindfulness introduced at an early age can encourage self-worth and body awareness through physical and mindful activities that are noncompetitive thereby fostering cooperation, empathy and compassion rather than opposition.
