This course is aimed at those who have practiced Hatha Yoga style for at least one year and are seeking a solid foundation of practice and training.
This course requires a commitment to personal practice, and the study of applied anatomy, teaching (pedagogy), the Yoga tradition and the classical Yoga texts.
When you complete the Instructor course you can study to be a full Teacher.
Nota. In case the authorities restrict in person teaching, the course would then continue in the online format, which will consist of interactive classes in real time on course weekends and the hours will be complemented with reading work, written homework, practices, videos and recordings on the online platform.
Objective of the Course
The main objective is to train you how to effectively and safely teach Hatha Yoga, with an innovative methodology that enriches and enables you to transmit confidently your knowledge to future students of yoga classes.
This course is taught on weekends and consists of 200 contact hours.
The program fulfils the international standards to obtain the 200-hour training diploma. The monthly format will consist of weekends from Friday to Sunday once a month for ten months.
This course gives the student a broad vision of the world of Yoga and its theories. The practical classes demand a high level of adjustment techniques so you can teach more advanced classes.
Yogic techniques naturally offer greater attention and emotional regulation, making it a perfect complement to one's well-being. Furthermore, as a holistic practice, yoga caters to the mind, body, behaviour, and social interaction, thus offering an approach that aligns well with the growing appreciation that serenity requires attention to all aspects of the person.

Techniques, Methodology and Practical Application: practical knowledge of anatomical adaptations, precision in postural corrections, the use of accessory tools. Learning background, skills, abilities, values and attitudes related to the practical teaching of yoga.
Pedagogy, Method and Teaching Exercise:: knowledge intended for the teaching profession. Preparation and design of programs, organization of classes, performance techniques, creation of environments, acquisition of specific vocabulary, psychological assessment techniques. Design and presentation of lesson plans with different levels of practice and difficulty.
Anatomy and Physiology: basic knowledge of applied anatomy and physiology of the body, and practical application.
Philosophy and Canonical Texts: Approach to the philosophical principles and ethics of yoga, from the study, interpretation and commentary of the different canonical texts.
Tradition: A review of its origins and evolution to make it more understandable to current approaches. We emphasize an approach based on the importance of tradition as a fundamental part, in order to understand the origin and development of Yoga. The tradition is approached with deep respect and that attitude is applied to each practice. However, our approach is not dogmatic. The intention is to awaken the traditional spirituality as a form of personal psychological growth. Consciousness begins here and ... who knows where it will end?

Methodology of teaching and practice:Throughout the course, what is learned in the theoretical and pedagogical classes is practiced, strengthening the knowledge of the positions, the adaptations, substitutions and use of grants for the improvement of personal practice and the practice of teaching.
