YFI, is a digital yoga training, for our current set of circumstances.
After 21 years teaching with Yoga Center S.L., I (Gauri Agulla) wish to continue offering my know how in this my new digital training project imposed by the pandemic .
A challenging change, a paradigm shift in yoga training, until now always in person, always in close contact.
The initial months of confinement led me to use online media to fulfil my obligations to students already enrolled in person to person courses, unfortunately confined by a national lockdown.
A new phase
This new chapter reunited other teachers, who were teaching independently. The idea occurred that these independent teachers could share their expertise with those who still wished to benefit from the ancient tradition of Yoga.
YFI training is certified by AIPYS, a non-profit association, dedicated to maintaining Yoga training excellence for more than 30 years. Yoga Formación Institute issues diplomas approved by AIPYS.

Yoga Trainers Courses follow the AIPYS diploma standards. and they place special emphasis on pedagogy. Those who teach them have an excellent reputation and are recognised for their highly personal styles. Check the difference for yourself.
Convinced that yoga is an extraordinary tool to promote a healthy relationship with ourselves, teachers try to offer that safe space that allows us to explore the dialogue between body and mind.
Integrity, respect and profound understanding, with a post post-modern pluralist perspective free of dogmatism.

I have been continuously learning and practicing at Yoga Center Madrid and I'm happy to share what I have learned with my students, from whom I also learn daily. I eventually trained as a Hatha Yoga Teacher, Ashtanga Vinyasa and as a Vinyasa Flow Instructor with AIPYS and did workshops with highly regarded teachers such as Peter Sanson, Liz Lark and Lino Miele.
Chrystiani, a creative specialist of the Iyengar and Hatha Yoga styles. Chrystiani is also offers her faculty and very interesting workshops on different aspects of yoga.
In my childhood I competed for years as a gymnast in high competition. Afterwards I looked for a balanced discipline that respected body and mind without competition. That's when I discovered Yoga. It resulted in my taking the 500 hour Teacher Training at AIPYS and the joy of sharing Yoga with others as a teacher.
I have practiced hatha yoga since 2004. It has helped me find peace of mind, emotional balance and health. I trained as a Hatha Yoga Teacher with AIPYS, and I am currently continuing with more studies.
To unite my passions, I now approach people through yoga and from their temple, the body. I began in Yoga in Madrid as a teacher with great enthusiasm and respect.
